Mostly it has for me. While there were a few wounds that required therapy AND time, even with those, I do believe I would have moved mostly past given enough time. Those old wounds don't stay gaping open forever. They scar over and are, for the most part, set aside as life has its way of moving forward. I had one particular "wound" that I honestly kept picking at for a very long time; it kept opening up and festering. But with therapy, I did learn how to let it be long enough so it had a chance to heal.
