Just to give you an idea how powerful water weight can be. Last week I ate normally but not enough to gain weight. About 1500 per day. According to my scale... I went up 3 lbs. This weekend I have fasted (just 36 hour fast) which typically makes me piddle out all my water.

I have lost 4 lbs. So water can really obscure weight loss in the short term.
