Suffering from a severe cold. Didn’t get out of bed Sunday and Monday at all except to shower briefly. Couldn’t fall asleep last night because I was in severe sinus pain/pressure. My whole face hurt. Finally an hour after taking Sudafed and Advil it cleared up enough to sleep. Woke up this morning with the Advil having worn off so my throat was on fire. I decided to take off from work even though we just had a four day weekend. I couldn’t fathom making it through, even with medication. I hope that if I sleep for awhile today and then sleep well tonight I will feel well enough to go tomorrow. I got a dr note for today and tomorrow just in case. Ugh. I’ve had colds before but this one takes the cake. I’m just glad it’s not the flu.
