I have had that eczema in the ear, too. I have to be very careful. Until I had it correctly diagnosed, I was in agony! It felt like bee stings inside of the ear canal.

Once I had the right dx and treatment, I had improved very quickly! I still must be careful of getting any moisture in my ears.
Mine is hereditary. My grandmother and her mother had this as a part of their overall eczema problems.
