Losing friends is really hard, I went through the same thing with a guy. I fell for him though. I cried for so long over him, it took about a year for me to put it completely behind me. I miss him still once and a while, but I got through it. It can take a while to get over something like that, it's not easy. But it can be done, and there's another friend out there for you. Maybe you could try to find one through a school support group? I know our school has one, not sure if they're "standard issue" for all schools though. I'm just suggesting that because you'll want a friend that's supportive. I hope you have a friend near to hangout with.

I'm sorry your friend didn't stand by you in your time of need. To speak frankly, that's what a friend does and it makes me sad to year of someone treating you like that. TT__TT
