Veggies are safe for me, even if I am not a huge fan of them.

But I can eat spicy food and be okay, as long as I eat in moderation. I don't know why bread and crackers are worse than spicy foods, though.
Have you been tested for gluten intolerance or Celiac? I'm just wondering about this since you struggle so much with breads and crackers. Also, sorry that you're having such troubles. No fun! But yes, I am also concerned about the low amount of calories. And 5'4" or 5'5" is not really short.
Best wishes!
