If you are sure you are ok physically, I find that hot Chile sauce makes me full and that various cultures used it for that as well as for the flavoring aspect. My weight is creeping up and up, so I was grateful to stumble across this. It’s amazing!
Thanks a lot for your reply. It’s been tough for me as I never feel anything going in my stomach and even after a heavy meal, it’s like I’ve had nothing 5 minutes after.
Unfortunately the psychiatrist I saw was abroad. So I didn’t get the chance to be treated by him as I only went for an opinion only as I suffered from other symptoms such as being unable to sense changes in temperature and weather, and sleep imbalances.
He then suggested that it might be due to the drugs I took and that they may have had an effect on the hypothalamus.
His first suggestion was ECT. But when I expressed my fear he then said there might be other medication but never said what they were. I then travelled back home.
It’s been quite tough for me cause it feels like my brain is disconnected from my stomach and I gained a lot of weight while I was on medication. Even after 2 years off I never am able to sense anything I am eating.
