Hi. I have schizoaffective disorder and I deal with a lot of sadness. I don't really have any great ways of dealing with it. I do have some friends I can reach out to and text. There's also a text crisis line 741741 that I have used before. My sadness seems to come out of nowhere often as well. It's frustrating. I try to do a lot of self care. Take a warm/hot shower, put on nice lotion, perfume, go outside, go for a walk, go play basketball, snuggle with my kitties, take a nap, go get coffee, etc. You did well by reaching out here.
