It IS heartbreaking.... that is just plain wrong of police officers. And a decent man would never hit the woman back, no matter what.

It definitely can go both ways. I think where domestic violence is concerned, there's definitely a bias towards women.

My husband, when he went back to his ex's to retrieve his belongings, called the police to have them escort him to the house. Because she tried to get a restraining order on him, he did not want anything to be misconstrued.
