me too...I can't stand when I'm gearing for it.

It's better to plan to be busy, or for me, I might be in the bubble bath with a trade magazine (if I'm lucky).

Cyran0 is so right. Movie, some popcorn, fresh pj's if the activities are indoors...I remember to breathe, only listen to light new age or instrumental musc (nothing with triggers) and it helps when I spray my place with an aromatherapy scents of natural origins, pure oils.. for anxiety I use lavander in the bedroom, sweet orange around the house, especially kitchen area and eucalyptus in the bathroom for my hot shower of bath that calms me, or in the hallways... always seems to calm me...my heartrate slows, I breath deeply, I feel calmer.

I tell myself 'NO" to certain thought patterns when they start to trip me out, and I really try to mediatate, even if I don't succeed, I tried. If I get to a crying jag, I let it out and then spoil myself with any or all of the above.
