I agree with you, Peg.

Death is final. No “oops”. No “do over”. No “wait, I’ve changed my mind”. It is the absolute end.

But in death there is release.

No more unending sadness, no worry, no more one day of sunshine followed by months of rain, no more meds, no more anguish, no more people saying “think of your family”. No more pain and I don’t mean just the physical pain, I mean that deep down in your soul type pain that follows you everywhere.

No more life. . . .
If what I have now is life, perhaps I’m already dead.
