By going through emotions, do you mean analyze your own emotions or be able to talk to your therapist about it? The thing I do is, I am aware of my emotions, but I don't always let people see how I feel pur talk openly about personal matters. This makes people think I'm not in touch with emotions when they are simply kept out of the loop.
So by going through, do you mean you don't fully understand what you feel or why you feel that way? It would be easier to help if you gave more details, like of it is a certain exercises your therapist told you to do or they want you to confide something in them. Or if you are just confused about how you feel.
