Hi Moose. I'll confess that I don't often go to page 2 or 3, but see that some people do. Why I often don't is because there's more than plenty for me to look at on page 1. I'm sort of in a position where I can only handle what's directly in front of me. Definitely if a person posts a thread (or a post in a thread) and only one or two people (or none) respond, its more than understandable that the poster hoping for a response "bump up" the thread. I have seen many cases like this where a thread received few (or no) responses initially, but later received many more. I think that if/when a poster really wants/needs a response, that they say so, in a nice way. I think when people see a "Hi Friends, sure could use some feedback" many people will then respond, when they didn't before, for whatever reason.
I have searched out and bumped up some long-running threads on pages 2, 3, or later. For example, I do like the "Goals" thread, "Bipolar Questions" thread, "Physical update" thread, and a couple similar.
