I do see a therapist. I do like her. I think she's been incredibly helpful. She's a good fit for me.
I've had other therapists in the past and haven't always connected with them. Fit is really important. I've stopped seeing therapists for various reasons in the past, but each time I did I didn't tell the therapist I was going to or why. Sometimes it was due to depression, other times it was due to something they said or did and I didn't give them the feedback to try to improve our relationship.
Therapy can be super helpful for me in processing not only crisis but also long term issues that impact my daily life. I'd highly suggest therapy to anyone and everyone who can afford or access it.
