I've never been on Lexapro, but someone in my household is. It seems to work for his condition.

I am on risperidone, and it has worked well for me for the last several years since I got on it. I have sza, bipolar type. I am also on another psych med.

I do not resist what the doctor wants for me; if they and I decide I will take a med, I take it precisely as ordered, and report any problems. I wish I could say that I always was like this. It is the only way the doctor knows what is really going on with the patient: if the patient takes precisely what they are supposed to.

I hope I don't sound like I am scolding. Maybe this helps.
