I use a similar approach. Only i will give into cravings for things like bananas and avocados and grapes. After a while, they wont appeal to me anymore, and organic cherry tomatoes or organic celery will be great!

Some fatty foods, like cheese, will make feel ill, so already i can only tolerate small portions. They become self-limiting.
