I really really like your contract and consequences idea. That way you, your "nice" husband, and the police all work together as a team to give the "mean" husband needed consequences and you a break.

Would it be possible for you and your husband eventually to have two seperate homes? The "nice" husband and father to be lives with you, the other has his own place to go?
