Is there a cure for boredom?

I experienced boredom recently in a session with my T and husband. It was a strange feeling to have. Later I decided I felt so bored because I felt no progress was being made, and the things I wanted to happen weren't. Nothing was happening. Result: boredom. So maybe if you start to move (whatever that means), you will feel less bored.

I'm not experiencing intense emotions.... I guess this is how I'm supposed to feel.

Not necessarily. Intense emotions are a part of life. Everyone feels them from time to time, whether they have BPD or not. Why are you not feeling things anymore? Is this a positive or negative for you? I don't know if you're taking any anti-depressant meds, but I've heard some of them can flatten affect and make a person feel less. If that's happening, then you could report it to your doc.
