To what extent was this an issue of "not liking to work hard" versus recognizing you did not have the "right" traits required for "success" in the real world of psychiatry as practiced?

Behind my question above is a personal awareness that upward progress in certain professions requires a high degree of psychological comfort with aggressive self-promotion.
thanks rohag...i am still working on it...i am not aggressive...i didn't need to be...
people kept coming...i didn't use drugs...just talk...but somehow i broke down...
i just didn't like working that hard...i never ever was interested in working hard
like most regular doctors...i really was wanting 1/2 time...and then i could play
the rest of the time....i wouldn't make much $$$...and i might have a little fame..
but i was also wanting to know what actually causes depression and panic attacks...
