They’re not expecting a vaccine for 18 months. That’s fast....we don’t have a vaccine for HIV and it’s been 30 years. It may blow over eventually but most people will lose someone they love...if we do nothing about it. My state has only 1400 ventilators....odds are one will not be available if it spreads too rapidly. The whole point is to slow the progress so that these ventilators are available for people who need them.
Italy had nearly 500 deaths yesterday, and they are under lockdown.....can you imagine if everyone was out spreading it?
