I don't think the US did enough early enough. They are only now implementing measures which should have been taken months ago. In Houston, they let the rodeo (which attracts thousands of people from all over the world) go for two weeks. They closed it early, but I'm sure lots of germs got spread in that time.

I'm having a hard time working from home because I live alone and am an extrovert. I'm afraid this will trigger a bad depressive episode.
