Is it possible to stay far away from this service rep?
Maybe even in another room?
Maybe you could have him/her call your cell phone with any questions, etc?
She/he could either shout the questions/info, or could call you on your cell.

Be very careful when it comes to again using your landline. Sanitize the equipment well. You already know this. Lol!
