My pdoc has a stupid "assistant" who does nothing more than get in the way, but he isn't much better himself, even without the lady.

Right now is obviously a bad time to seek out a new psychiatrist, though. I bet many places aren't accepting new patients until this whole situation blows over. It sucks because I want a new one. (I tried asking around about 2 months ago for a new pdoc, but wasn't getting any bites. Definitely not going to get a bite now.)

My therapist and I had a "talk" note too long ago (back when I was still able to see her in person) and she promised to be more responsive. So far, she seems to be. I think she's now realizing that she can make improvements in some areas. I was surprised how a simple talk made all the difference. I would encourage others to do it as well if their therapist or pdoc isn't giving them what they need. My pdoc talk kinda failed, but it's worth a shot anyway.
