This is interesting to hear. I just got out of the hospital and they said they were taking me off Seroquel and Xanax because they are too sedating but put me on risperidal. I have not had sedating affects from it yet but it has only been about 2 weeks. I wish it was more sedating for me so I could sleep. I take 2mg in the morning and 4mg at night. It now makes sense way they shuffled my dose to more at night. Wish I had answer for you. But thank you for the insight.
