For a little context, in our country, life has not been normal since October of las year. During October and November we were under curfew with the military on the streets due to civil unrest. It was often difficult to get out and get basic supplies due to supermarkets closing as there was looting and concerns about running into protests or street barricades.

Things hadn't fully calmed down. We were still having protests up to the time that the virus started to be an issue here, but protests were more limited to certain hotspots and easier to avoid. Supermarkets were stocked better.

Now, we are back to the same, but due to the virus. Curfew with the military on the streets started again last night. We are under state of catastrophe and identity controls. Our borders are closed and there are limits on travel to certain regions. In the capital, the military, police, etc. can stop you and do an identity check to make sure you are not supposed to be under quarantine.

I am exhausted. I can't believe we are going through our second curfew in six months. I never thought I'd experience something like this in my life.
@rechu

There are similar things going on where I am. I don't think it's as military-like where I am. But they are certainly trying to detain people and keeping people off the streets. It's unfortunate. I guess that they (at least where I am) have the best of intentions in keeping people off the streets. Is there mandatory quarantine under enforcement where you are?
Thanks for this!
