So, this is something I have been sort of reflecting on for quite a number of years and was just wondering if I am the only one who experiences some of these things. Obviously, we all know about stigma and discrimination--that goes without saying.

That said, I have noticed over many years, since everyone who knows me became painfully aware of my illness, that I tend to get blown off by even my good friends pretty regularly. As in, emails and texts, specifically, like, totally not ever being acknowleged or responded to. This virtually never happened to me before I got sick. Ever. Not that I recall, anyway.

Now, on the rare occasion that I do actually send someone a note of some kind, there is a fairly good chance that it will not ever receive a reply. I am sure there are a thousand reasons for this, but I am just wondering if other people have had the same phenomenon occurring? Maybe it's just me...
