Thank you, TunedOut! I have been calibrating to people since I was 4 or 3 years old, or maybe earlier. To me, it was just a practical way of keeping things as safe as possible. And yes, I did lose myself, but into my own private world, my imagination, which has been such a wonderful blessing for me all my life. You went to a lot of trouble to type out all this for me. You are so kind & generous! I can't really express how I feel about that, except that my heart says we are lucky to know you. God knows how I feel, so I hope you will know through God.
