Hi again,
Sorry to email you so many times today but I wanted to let you know about this sooner rather than later. Happy to talk about this in session tomorrow if you prefer that to discussing over email.
My program director just completely upended our work schedule due to the COVID surge. I anticipate that due to increased patient loads, I will no longer be able to leave work to attend session, even over Zoom. As such, I will need to cancel a few appointments; please see dates below in bold. Also, I wanted to ask if you would be willing to make an exception to the 48h notice required to cancel a session, just on the days when I am on backup call (please see dates below in italics)—I may not know until 6:30 that morning whether or not I will be required to work.
4/3 (Friday): On backup call, may have to cancel that morning if I get called in
4/7 (Tuesday): Day ICU, have to cancel
4/10 (Friday): Day ICU, have to cancel
4/13 (Tuesday): Off, can keep appt
4/17 (Friday): Day ICU, have to cancel
4/21 (Tuesday): Day ICU, have to cancel
4/24 (Friday): Off, can keep appt
4/28 (Tuesday): Off, can keep appt
5/1 (Friday): Off, can keep appt
5/5 (Tuesday): Night ICU, can keep appt
5/8 (Friday): Off, can keep appt
5/12 (Tuesday): On backup call, may have to cancel that morning if I get called in
5/15 (Friday): On backup call, may have to cancel that morning if I get called in
(This will no longer be accurate if my COVID test comes back positive, in which case I will have to be out through 4/13 and will therefore be able to make appts on 4/7 and 4/10.)
