I do much prefer seeing my therapist and psychiatrist in person. Especially my psychiatrist! There is definitely something lost by having the sessions by video. I don't miss the drive to my therapist's office (high traffic/stress). The drive to my psychiatrist's office is easy and pleasant since it's only about 6 minutes away by car on a pleasant back road. If I was in better shape, I could even walk or bike to my psychiatrist's office. It's only 2 1/2 miles away, but there is a killer long hill to get there. I'd be a sweat hog if I tried.
Yes, I prefer seeing my therapist and pdoc in person too. I agree that something is lost by having video sessions.

I don't blame you for not wanting to bike up a hill. Definitely no one wants to be sweaty and icky when they go to any kind of doctor's appointment, be it therapy, pdoc, GP, some other specialist, etc.! I actually find it kind of embarrassing when I go somewhere in public (besides the gym) and I'm sweaty.

Sort of off topic, but I love biking even though I haven't done it in 2 years. I miss it a lot. But Moose72 said something that reminded me to bring my bike to my apartment, now that I have space for it. (I just got a single car garage spot for my car back in January, so I can shove it in there and it'll be locked up.) Maybe I can go get it and do some biking this weekend or something.
