Almost a year ago when I was manic, my pdoc increased my seroquel dose to 800, spread out throughout the morning. I could barely move, never mind stay awake. She was trying to control my mania; her next step was IP. Maybe your pdoc is doing the same thing- keeping you out of IP chemically?
