The young woman behind the counter was exceptionally nice and I drank in this one outside encounter for all it was worth!
On my walk a few people thanked me as I stood back for them. I notice everyone just seems more aware and attentive during these brief social interactions.
Working in the shop I always said we should always be extra nice in our interaction with customers as we might be the only people they talk to that day - now it's true of many people.
I am touched by these simple gently kind and polite interactions.
