I had to meet with the female in the practice I go to last week. I'm not a big fan of hers. She doesn't listen and she only focuses on the meds. She appears inconvenienced when I ask detailed questions. The male that I see is the polar opposite. He is empathetic. He remembers my story. We talk about my life circumstances. He answers my questions. I always try to see him, but it didn't work out last time.

She begins our conversation with 'so, is the Risperdal and Geodon working for you?' I replied 'well they aren't doing anything because I have been med free since September due to your guidance and that of your college. Read my chart and then let's talk.' She looked only slightly embarrassed, read for a moment and then asked me how I was coping ....

We talked for maybe 2 additional minutes and then she said I don't need to see them anymore unless I am symptomatic and need meds.

I expect them to at least read the chart...
