Good for you! You're doing the right thing. He sounds pretty awful and no one derserves that kind of attention.

And I definitely agree with your father. But I know it's hard for you to be what you consider "rude". I hate to think of it that way, though. You're just doing what you need to do to protect yourself. And based on Richard the Creep's actions, he hardly knows what rude is anyway, otherwise he wouldn't have acted like he did.

I once went to my boss about a co-worker that constantly made inappropriate comments to me. It wasn't easy, but it paid out in the end because he left me alone. I hope this guy gets it.
