It has happened on several occasions that I cut and then the next day I really can't remember where it came from. Yesterday I saw the bandage on my thigh and I knew that I had cut the night before because that was evidence... but as hard as I tried to recall the process-- taking out the blade, doing the cutting, putting on the bandages, how I felt, what I did after-- I have no recollection.

Then there are night like last night in which I was totally conscious of it and can remember every single thing that took place.
