I find that hard to believe, as well. I think sometimes people are unsure about what it is that's off putting about someone else .. and there could be a gazillion reasons why. I trust my gut instincts (I don't always listen to it, though) and keep my guard up a lot.

I agree, though.. they may not want to say why, either. Maybe it's an insecurity issue, or pettiness, or jealousy.. or they simply don't want to speak negatively about someone they don't like .. wouldn't that be super?

Reasons I may not like someone is if they appear arrogant, non-authentic, or gossipy. If they come off judgmental without concrete "evidence", or if they monopolize a conversation.
