I think if we understand the darker parts of our personality we can understand what its like to be really human. Carl Jung said if you show me a sane man I will cure him for you. I like this because we are all flawed and hard on ourselves. We need to stop projecting how we think we are supposed to be by looking at others and try to be ourselves even if you lose friends. We are nowhere near perfect but we can find our happiness from accepting our mistakes.....
