i know when i'm feeling down i get all these nightmares but it sucks to not even be able to sleep well because of them. RS gave me back my meds yesterday so i could refill my container but i told him to take them again. i'm still not feeling well. like i said it's getting slowly better but i just wish i could kick it. i will though. just gotta give the meds a chance t work.
Sorry to hear about the awful nightmares. I'm glad everyone is ok and that it was just a nasty dream.

I hope the nightmares subside soon. Have you considered nightmare meds if you're getting nightmares so often while depressed? There is a nice article published on the NIH's website (nih.gov) that talks about treatments: Best Practice Guide for the Treatment of Nightmare Disorder in Adults

Scroll down to section 4.1 ("4.1 The following are medication treatment options for nightmare disorder").

Just thought you might find it interesting. It lists pretty much every treatment available, and section 4.2 lists non-pharmacological treatments (e.g., EMDR, CBT, etc.). Plus, some of those meds are ADs, anxiolytics like gabapentin, APs, etc.. So basically, such meds would have dual purpose for you if you already have anxiety, etc..
