I realized I am having way too much caffeine all the time.
I am reducing my caffeine intake to 4 cups of coffee a day (which is equivalent to 48 oz of coffee a day if my mug calculation is correct).
That means, according to the research I've read, that I will still be consuming around 800 mg of caffeine a day.
This is down from the near 1000 mg I was having before of caffeine per day.
I am going to try this (4 cups a day) for a week and see how it goes.
Then I will go for another reduction, etc. Hopefully I'll get off of caffeine this way!
The reason why I'm reducing my caffeine intake is because I noticed it affects my sleep. And I have also read a lot of research that says it affects emotional health, too. I am curious about that, as well, so I have decided to cut down on it.
Anyway, I just posted this thread to keep me accountable.
