This isn't an addiction situation. It is a health situation, but I have become isolated, and taken on a lot of responsibilities that I shouldn't have, and I've let my wife's happiness, and opinion of me, be how I measure my value as a person.

I'm actively letting go of that part.

I understand how you feel because I am.going through the same thing. Melody Beaty codependent no more, the journey from abandonment to healing Susan Anderson are great books to.read for codependent. There a mediation call heal codependency /I am affirmation while you sleep. I hope that help you out.
