I've noticed that we're allowed to create little inspirational things here. .and I think that's great. I don't particularly subscribe to the same school of thought as many, though I am finding that there are many like me on PC. So. . .this is for all of us, in our own defunct'ness. )

Just for today

Just for today I will not accept judgement. I will revel in the joy that comes from being who I was created to be; every overweight ounce, every vertically challenged inch, ever sharp tongued word.

Just for today, I will laugh at lunacy. I will chuckle to myself at audacity and righteousnees. I will listen instead to the quiet, still voice of my soul that says, "I think you're fabulous dahling, just fabulous."

Just for today, I will go a little faster when I drive, snubbing my nose at authority, because really, what's the fun of life if you can't break the rules once in a while?

Just for today, I will NOT make my bed. I will not conform to society's expectations and I will leave my milk glass upended in the sink without running water in it first!!

Just for today, I choose to see the invisible people; the ones that everyone else passes over or passes judgement upon. You are seen, you are loved, and just for today YOU are most important.

Just for today, I will love myself.
