I just wanted to say, I have a bad case of social anxiety as well, and what you've explained here, I relate to every word, including trying all kinds of med's and counseling to alleviate, and ideally remove, the symptoms. But unfortunately I have not been successful either.
I don't have any advice really because nothings solved the problem for me, but I will say, please don't resort to alcohol or drugs because you may end up creating yet another problem to fix. Also, the practice of
mindfulness, although not a cure, can help you to maintain your focus during the trying times, which it has for me. Mindfulness. There's a lot of info on the internet about it, AliceWinter.
