****Long story short I’m too anxious to get a counselor for my anxiety****
Obviously, with the current state of things this won’t be happening too soon, but I’ve been wanting to see a counselor for my anxiety and numerous other concerns of mine. I’ve never had any sort of counseling or therapy before and now that it’s available through my college I wanted to try but honestly every time I go to the website to see how to set up an appointment I have an anxiety attack and end up crying for about 2 hours.
Anyone have a similar experience? Any tips for preparing myself to talk to a therapist?
I want to have an official diagnosis so I can better understand my difficulties and explore options for treatment. Thank you in advance.
