They did, with my permission. They didn't very often, but there were times when I was in serious crisis and communication between them was important so our plans to handle the crisis could be best coordinated. I'd say probably 90% or more of the time, they spoke to each other while I was in their office and they were on speaker so we could all talk. Their ability and willingness to work WITH me in a collaborative way was key to my treatment, healing, and eventual ability to no longer need either of their services.
