Im sorry you have been going through such a hard time

I have had to give my husband my meds before when I am not safe. I over served myself Xanax 7-8 years ago. My Pdoc agreed to leave me on Xanax IF my husband had control my meds, So I would fill up my pill boxes in front of Steve and I'd get 2 days out at a time. I dont think its unreasonable that your Pdoc is requesting this. As things settle down and your safe again you will have control of meds again.
