I feel this not admitting mistakes or apologising is something that seems to be growing amongst many people not just politicians - but in this country at least politicians win first prize for it. I think it may be ego.

Personally I have reflected on myself during this and feel more determined than ever to own my mistakes, errors, misjudgements and apologise.
