I believe that we will see some changes. It's going to take a long, long time before handshakes and hugs return - and when they do, they will be much less common...even with people we are close to.

Telemedicine will become much more popular. In-person medical office visits will change in that patients and providers will be asked to wear masks. We will continue to see hand sanitizing stations all over the place.

It will be interesting to see how therapy changes. Will there be a rise in teletherapy? I hope not!

Far less brick and mortar stores and restaurants. More online shopping and door delivery. Curbside pick-up might remain. People will be more selective about grocery store purchases. Buffets will become a memory, as will bulk bins.

More people will work from home, as much as possible.

Hair salons will return to normal. In fact, they might become even more popular (and expensive) because they'll be felt as a luxury (since there will be less "going out to do things").

It will be a long time for business to return to nail salons. People are spooked. Nail salons are just too personally invasive. Nail salons might never be as popular as they have been since the '90's.

The travel industry (especially by plane) will slow down for a long time. Cruise ships might see major changes...no more of the huge cruise ships; the ships will be much smaller and much more expensive, elite.

That's about all I can think of.
