It has been hard for all of us, and many observers are predicting massive changes to how we work are on their way on account of COVID-19. Industries that can afford to have employees work from home are likely to embrace this. But, I hope we're all given a choice if it comes to that--if we can choose how and where we want to work from, that should be good.

That said, I live very close to work, a 15-minute walk, and it still wasn't enough to relish the prospect of meeting the day and so many ppl. I thought working from home would be a good alternative, but people are insisting on having our cameras turned on at all times during SCRUMs and other daily meetings. Draconian and excessive. Since we're working from home, employers only have legit claim on a certain amount of our time. They cannot regulate--much less demand--how we work from home as long as the work gets done.

I hope you feel better about going in if you have to go in more regularly. I wish though that you can work from home, and in a pleasant manner
