No. In fact I think the LOA works with negative thoughts...so you do have to be careful.
You have to "mean it" you have to with every aspect of your being focus on something, see it happening, and know it will happen deep down.
I remember when I went to grad school. I had never attempted something like this before... for at least 4 months I had a passion burning in my heart that I was going not to make a fool out of myself. I was going to get good grades, I WAS going to make it happen. Failure was not an option. Of course I studied but I easily could have failed to understand a question. Even after the test I thought about it with a passion.
So the day the exams were posted, I walked up.. put my number up... both numbers had next to them. "A" -- I didn't quite believe that... then one of them had the "A" circled.. when I read down it said I had won the section award for best paper.
I practically fell over. This seemed like something that was going to be soo difficult. I thought back to the nuns, they said, if you have studied god won't let you fail... well I don't believe in god but substitute "universe" and it kind of works.
