Hello Thenewguy: I see this is your first post here on PC. Welcome to Psych Central.

I'm not a mental health professional. However, based on what you wrote, it sounds to me as though marriage counseling would be a good step for the two of you to take (possibly some individual therapy for each of you as well.)
