She had me write questions with my right hand and then answer with my left. Well, I thought she was off her rocker when she said that it is to help tap into the other side of my brain and allow the alters to speak. I never ever let them out for people, so I didn't think this would work, but it did.
I asked Beau how he was feeling today and he wrote "anxious", then I asked him why and he said "too many questions bout us" and lastly I asked why was there too many questions for him...he said "no ones business"
So, T said that she would rather I did the writing with her in case I got too anxious and so she can help me learn to calm myself without her there. I was already anxious, so we started deep breathing and I was able to calm down.
She told me I can try it if I want at home, but I don't think I will. I will just let him write what he wants here without questioning because when I do he gets angry and defensive.
Has anyone else ever tried the writing exercise before? What was your experience?
